***************************************************************** The Katrina Allwood Memorial Scholarship 2014-15
The School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Sheffield is pleased to invite applications for the Katrina Allwood Memorial Scholarship 2014-15.
The award will normally be made to an MA Catalan Studies student following registration for their degree, or if there is no suitable candidate for the MA Catalan Studies, the scholarship panel may, at their discretion, consider MA Hispanic Studies students intending to work on Peninsular languages and cultures, including Catalan. The value of the award will be £2,500.
Candidates wishing to be considered for this award should email Dr Louise Johnson (Director of Catalan Studies) by 12 noon on Friday 27 June 2014. All applicants must be holding, or have accepted an offer from the University of Sheffield for an appropriate MA programme.
The Department of Hispanic Studies at Sheffield extends its sincere thanks to Mr Charlie Allwood, in memory of Mrs Katrina Allwood, for his generosity.
